iDocuments - V6 - Feature List

Introduction
Overview
This is not a commitment to deliver any material, code, or functionality, and the development, release, and timing of any features or functionality described are subject to change up to the point of release.
The main objectives for the V6 version were:
- Scaling improvements
- Latest versions of components
- Improvements in responsiveness
- Streamlining processes for improved user experience
New Features
General
- The homepage Open Transactions option defaults to current user transactions
- Multiple document types in one list
- User-definable selections and filters
- Scrolling menu system with the ability to pin the menu open or have it collapsible
- Chat feature extended to all document types
- Document breadcrumbs to locate their current place in the system
- An option to add/remove from favourites is now available on each page
- Alerts are now shown with a red icon centrally at the top right
- Best fit columns—now remembers layout
- Redesign of favourites and recent—now not limited to the home page
- Ability to replicate layout for other users
- Time zones used in history will now be for any date/time
- The document summary option now allows copy/paste of pertinent information that is normally missed (e.g., company/user logged in/error message) to make it easier to send support ticket information for a document.
- User management now includes duplication of user settings for new joiner.
Technical
- Support for multiple iDocuments databases within a single tenant
- MFA security updates—now users must type in a code to save
- MFA support for Microsoft and Google Authenticators
- Sales address lookup API—requires address licence key
- System errors now allow copy/paste of pertinent information that is normally missed (e.g., company/user logged in/error message) to make it easier to send support ticket information for a system error
- Refresh option for group GL descriptions
- Remove all option for group settings configurations
Listing Pages
- Select and action multiple transactions at once
- Line selection from anywhere in the row
- Double-click option to open rather than hyperlink in a single cell
- Right-click action options
- Document age filtering
- List screens status is remembered in cookies—collapsed menu, etc.
- Additional personal setting parameters to allow for single or multiple search columns
- Multiple documents can be printed at once as a zip file
- Best fit per column option available
Document Details and Entry
- Speed enhancements with the removal of refreshes required to validate data
- All users use the same screens, and images can be hidden or moved within the webpage
- Entry by line grid or single line pop-up option
- Grid Entry columns can now be customised.
- Save and Back to List are separate options
- History timeline visualisation is in a separate tab
- Fields return to both search filtering, along with an option to select via a pop-up option
- Workflow visualisation—shows steps of where it's been and where it's up to
- Any interface sync errors are now shown at the top of the transaction pages and on listing page tooltips
- Comments are now added with context history (e.g., last week, last month)
- Locked PI documents now display who they are locked to, versus not opening
- Attachment preview pane
- Related document visualisation
- Personal settings—allow the option of display codes and name or either
- Import and upload functions can now remove selected lines before uploading
Search
- All page searches for pages, document transactions, and anything else in iDocuments will display 200 results and can then refine them further
- Search and filter column options replaced with a single filter
- The search results tab is remembered—it can reopen after another task to show the last search
- Advanced searching with the most recent documents is remembered to save having to search/filter again for a document you were working on previously
- Filtering only shows suppliers you have access to—versus showing all suppliers and finding no transactions
- Prebuilt search definitions for time periods (e.g., last month, this week, yesterday)
- Multiple status ticks replaced with preset options for multi-status
- Configuration reports allow for single or multiple companies
OCR
- The intelligent capture log screen (right click the document button) has been redesigned to give easier information on the results (e.g., red if different, yellow if it wasn’t found but was exported, and green if it was captured successfully)
- Export and import of settings for OCR
- Ability to skip the OCR wait times and have a new process for a manually created invoice with the PDF manually attached by the user
- Upload multiple documents at the same time—with an auto refresh to show them going into the OCR
Deprecated or Replaced Features to Note

List of users function is after submitting

PI currency on linked PO will no longer be updated

OCR scans can no longer be accessed from home page links without access permissions

OCR PO number and PO number columns combined as one is an updated version of the other

Favorites moved from the homepage to the menu
