Overview

Introduction

This document provides an overview of the Lumiya Line-Level Additional Costs (incl. Freight) functionality.

Based around the SAP options, Lumiya allows header-level and line-level options.

In SAP, a marketing document allows 3 lots of line freight information to be added; now, Lumiya has the functionality to allow entry via a selection button.

Lumiya settings

A company setting ('Can Use Line Level Freight') is available to turn on the use of the line-level functionality in Lumiya.

Any line freight details are now synchronised from Lumiya to SAP only.

Saltbox changes

If populated, marketing documents (purchase orders, goods receipts, purchase invoices, goods returns, credit notes, sales orders, and sales invoices) will pass the line freight details along with the marketing transactions.

Sales order process

Line and header additional costs are accessed by clicking the value of additional expenses, which appears as a hyperlink when you hover your mouse over it.

In the top-right area, there are the document totals and the field where you enter the header additional costs.

On the line, there is a specific column for line-specific costs.

For header costs, the hyperlink will show the required fields of name, net, and tax code. Use ‘Add’ to save those.

For line entry, the only difference is that you can enter analysis details.

Editing the amounts is the same with the edit button moving the costs back to the left entry option, so they can be altered as needed.

The line will show the total additional costs for the line, and the header will show all the additional costs for the document, allowing the invoice gross to balance.

When approved, the details will appear in SAP on the line. Each will take one of the 3 available sets of freight fields.
