To create a new project, press the "Add New" (+) button at the top of the Projects menu.

You'll see the New Project Express Connect Assistant.

Select an application host (marker 1 below) to assign where the project's engine and supporting resources (such as log files) will be hosted.

Set the project details (marker 2 below):

  • Project name—This will be displayed in the menu.
  • Environment type—Select the environment that best fits your project phase, such as production or development.
  • Project source
    • Blank—A completely blank project will be created.
      • You'll need to configure workflows and other project assets from scratch.
    • Upload a file—If you've exported a project file from another project instance, you can upload it with this option.
      • You'll need to set up connection configs, as exported project files include placeholder configs only.
    • Template—Start with an existing workflow template.
      • Templates are available for many common scenarios.

Configure the project details as prompted, then press the "Add Project" or "Add & Configure" button to proceed.

If the project source was either "Upload a Project" or "Template", the config screen will prompt you to fill in all connector configs included with the selected file or template.

Config setup is outlined in the Configure the Project page.
