Assets Overview

Assets are the building blocks of your project. They include:

• Workflows - execute business logic on a schedule or on request.
• Connector app screens - where required by a connector, launch a dedicated app screen to support that connector's logic.
• Datastores - When using grids or forms, capture data in Saltbox using a datastore. This is used by SXP Extensibility, or can be added as a standalone asset, if enabled for your tenant. 
• Grids - Capture or display data in a grid, or optionally display visualizations for data associated with a grid.
• Forms - Capture data in a user-friendly form from one set of users, then display that data in grids to other users. This is used by SXP Extensibility, or can be added as a standalone asset, if enabled for your tenant.
• URL links - Easily link to project resources, such as Sharepoint documents. 

Within the project, use Asset Groups to organize your project assets. 

Assets are currently separate from Project Files. Project files include user-managed content like supporting PDF documents, metadata zip files, or other project documentation. These can be managed in the Project Files page for each project.
