Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack

Container Management is the module available in Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack. 

 

Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack is a SAP Business One lightweight extension.

 

Follow these steps to install the Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack on SAP Business One:

 

  • Modules > Administration > Add-Ons > Add-On Administration. Click 'Manage Extensions for Lightweight Deployment'.

 

  • The SAP Business Control Center will open.

 

 

  • Enter 'B1SiteUser' credentials and access the portal.

 

  • In the SAP Business One extension manager', click 'Import'.

 

  • Click 'Browse' and select Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack VX.X.zip

 

 

  • Click 'Upload'

 

 

  • Click 'Finish' to install Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack.

 

 

Next, assign this add-on to every company that will use the company.

 

  • Click 'Company Assignment'.

 

 

  • Select the company and assign the add-on.

 

 

  • Choose 'Automatic' as the default start-up mode.

 

 

  • Finish the setup and open SAP Business One to initialize the add-on.

 

Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack will automatically install metadata (UDFs, UDOs, UDTs, and Business One queries and views) on the first initialization and connect successfully.

 

The add-on must be initialized at each company.

 

Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack has been installed successfully.

 

Note: Installing add-ons and metadata may disrupt logged-in users. We advise doing installations during scheduled SAP Business One downtime.

 

Enable Container Management Module

Modules > Administration > Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack > Module Setup

 

 

 

Restart Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack add-on to install metadata.

 

Once the metadata is installed, the menus will be added automatically.

 

 

 

Note: Installing add-ons and metadata may disrupt logged-in users. We advise doing installations during scheduled SAP Business One downtime.

 

Container Management Workflows Deployment

 

Container Management workflows are available in the Saltbox template repository.

 

To deploy workflows, create a project and navigate to project settings by clicking on 'Project > Project Settings'. 

 

   .

 

 

Go to 'Template Settings' and click ‘Search for Available Templates’.

 

 

 

Select SAP Business One Container Management (SL)

 

 

Click the import button, and Saltbox templates will install the connectors and import the container management workflows.

 

 

After importing, the workflow template will be attached to the project.

 

 

All container management workflows are imported successfully.
