Installation Guide: InterCompany for SAP Business One

Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack

InterCompany is the module available in Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack. Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack is a SAP Business One lightweight extension.

 

Follow the steps below to install Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack on SAP Business One:

 

  1. Modules > Administration > Add-Ons > Add-On Administration. Click 'Manage Extensions for Lightweight Deployment'.
  3. The SAP Business Control Center will open.
  5. Enter 'B1SiteUser' credentials and access the portal.
  6. In the SAP Business One extension manager', click 'Import'.

  8. Download the add-on from here :

  9. Click 'Browse' and select Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack VX.X.zip

 

  2. Click 'Upload'
  4. Click 'Finish' to install Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack.
  6. The next step is to assign this add-on to every company that will use the company. Click 'Company Assignment'.
  8. Select the company and assign the add-on.
  10. Choose 'Automatic' as the default start-up mode.
  12. Finish the setup and open SAP Business One to initialize the add-on.
  13. Saltbox InterCompany & Utility AddOn will automatically install metadata (UDFs, UDOs, UDTs, and Business One queries and views) on the first initialization and connect successfully. The add-on must be initialized at each company.
  15. Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack has been installed successfully.

 

 

Metadata Installation

You must add the following script to SBO_SP_PostTransactionNotice.

Enable Intercompany Module

a. Modules > Administration > Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack > Module Setup

 

 

Restart Saltbox B1 Functionality Pack add-on to install metadata.Once the metadata is installed, the menus will automatically be added.

 

 

Note : Kindly be advised that the installation of add-ons and metadata may cause disruption to other logged-in users. It is highly advisable to carry out such installations during scheduled SAP Business One downtime.

InterCompany Workflows Deployment

InterCompany workflows are available in the Saltbox template repository. To deploy workflows, create a project and navigate to project settings by clicking on 

   .

 

 

  1. Go to 'Template Settings' and click ‘Search for Available Templates’.

 

 

 

On the pop-up page, InterCompany workflows will be available :

 

 

 

2. By clicking the import button, Saltbox templates will install the connectors and import the InterCompany workflows.

 

After importing, the workflow template will be attached to the project.

All InterCompany workflows were imported successfully.
