Starting SXP Manager Add-On (for SXP Partner)

SXP Manager Add-On for SAP Business One is an administrative tool used by SXP. It manages details such as user settings, menus, roles, and web configuration. Start the add-on before doing any configuration for SXP Partner.

 

SXP Manager Add-On only needs to run during administration tasks. The add-on isn't needed for users who don't perform admin tasks, so typically, a “manual” startup is required, as described below.
 

If a user requires access to SXP Manager Add-On often, enable per-user admin settings so the add-on starts automatically for that user.

 

Starting SXP Manager Add-On

  1. Open Administration > Add-Ons > Add-On Manager in SAP Business One, as shown below.

     

    In the SAP Business One Administration Menu, select 'Modules', 'Add-Ons', and 'Add-On Manager'.

  2. Open the Installed Add-Ons Tab (see marker 1 below) from the Add-On Manager window. Select SXP Manager Add-On and use the start button (marker 3 below) to start SXP Manager Add-On. This may take several seconds.

     

    From the Add-On Manager, open the 'Installed Add-Ons' tab, select 'SXP Manager Add-On' (1), and press the start button (2).

  3. When SXP Manager Add-On is running, users will see a menu entry in SAP Business One (see marker 1 below).

     

    When SXP Manager Add-On has started, a menu entry will be displayed in SAP Business One (1).

     

Stopping SXP Manager Add-On

Users can end SXP Manager Add-On by using the stop button in the add-on window in SAP Business One, as shown below.

 

 

Click the 'Installed Add-Ons' tab and check the add-on's status (1). If it's connected, use the stop button (2) to disconnect it.
