SXP Extensibility Overview

Saltbox Extensibility allows users to create custom-based datastores, forms, and grids, which, coupled with Saltbox's extensive connector repository, allows integration with almost any application. This allows you to easily extend the application's functionality and reach to internal business users and potentially customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Examples of applications built to date:

Timesheet Entry for SAP Business One Service Calls

• Engineers complete timesheets against service calls
• Workflows automate the creation of activities in SAP that represent the times entered by the engineers
• The activity is linked to the service call in SAP Business One

Request For Quotation (RFQ) for SAP Business One

• Items are marked as RFQ requested in SAP Business One
• Vendors are automatically emailed to notify them with a link to a Saltbox form that lets them enter details such as pricing, order quantities, and lead times 
• This data is then sent back to SAP Business One as a purchase quotation

Style, Colour, Size SKU Creation for SAP Business One

• Create a "Master" style item in SAP Business One
• Select the sizes and colours the style comes in
• Item masters are automatically created for the derivatives
