1.5.0 - Brutos

New features

QC Module (Early Adopter)

A new Quality Control (QC) module is being introduced for Brutos. This feature will include data capture capabilities and a report, focusing on production order-associated tests. The module will be configurable and will come with a default suite of tests, though it will require additional costs and consulting for setup. This feature is for early adopters of QC for Brutos.

 

Canadian Federal Excise reports

Canadian Federal Excise Tax functionality is being added. This will help businesses comply with Canada-specific excise tax reporting requirements for their operations.

 

Improvements

  • Performance enhancements have been implemented for the issues and receipts screen, particularly for wort orders. Users will experience faster loading times, improving overall efficiency and user experience.
  • Traceability for Brutos Portal postings has been improved. Goods Receipts and Goods Issues processed via production will capture details regarding the specific logged in user who processed the transaction.
  • The system now allows multiple brands to package using the same Bright Beer. This enhancement provides better visibility of all finished goods using a specific bright beer, improving inventory management for contract or white label beers that need separate accounting.
  • Warehouse selection includes on warehouses assigned to the Item in Production Processing screens.

  • Exclude locked batches from available to issue
  • Cask fillsheets not validating batch size
  • Scrolling in the quantity field changes the quantity

New features

Add Production Issue Items

A new feature has been added to allow users to add items to Production Issue from mobile screens. This enhancement enables users to process production orders more efficiently within Brutos from the mobile view, eliminating the need to use SAP B1 for adding ingredients to goods issues.

 

Reverse Issue / Receipt

The system now includes reverse options for Goods Issue and Goods Receipts. This functionality allows users to reverse incorrectly processed goods issues or receipts, improving accuracy and flexibility in inventory management.

 

Improvements

  • The Production Scheduler now offers the ability to filter by date range. Users can now view and manage schedules beyond the previous one-month period, providing greater flexibility in planning and oversight.
  • A new warning system has been implemented to alert users when attempting to perform a receipt before an issue for wort. This feature aims to prevent errors and ensure proper sequencing of operations in the production process.
  • The Production Scheduler has been enhanced to allow color-coding options by Brand. In addition to the existing color-coding by process type, users can now visually distinguish production schedules based on different brands.
  • The Production Scheduler filters have been made dynamic to provide more relevant options. When users filter by location, the system now displays only the tanks and production orders available in that specific location, while still allowing visibility of tanks in other locations through the drop-down menu.
  • Added Fields for Yeast Information to Production Orders.
  • Added Decimals to Brand Batch Sizes
  • Added Decimals to Yield Calculations in Production Master
  • Additional capabilities in calculating turn quantities
  • Added ability to update from / to tanks of production orders links to productions run directly from Overview Grid if the "Use Manual Warehouse Function" setting turned on.

New features

Management Dashboard

A new reports package for Brutos is being introduced, focusing on Sales Analytics. This package will provide valuable insights and data visualization for sales-related metrics and performance indicators.

 

VIP Shipping Report

The VIP Shipping Report feature has been introduced which allows users to generate a shipping report in CSV format, which can be  integrated with VIP's distributor system.

Improvements

  • The ability to select ingredients from different warehouses during the Goods Issue process. This functionality will enhance flexibility in production management and can be configured according to specific business needs.

Fixes

  • Compatibility with international number formats
  • Text lines on Production Orders display an error when trying to issue or receive
  • The ability to sort columns in the Packaging Master screen and the Cask Management Dashboard

New features

Cask Management

A new feature has been added that allows users to manage casks and spirit production.

 

TTB Report

Users can now generate a TTB report automatically from within the system for submission each month.

 

Keg Deposits

Users can now take deposits for Kegs when Kegged items are sold and refund the deposits when the kegs are returned.

 

BC liquor board Batch Submission Report

A batch submission report must be submitted to the BC Liquor board to operate in BC, Canada. Brutos now supports automation of this report generation.

 

Mobile Inventory Transfers

Mobile users can create and post new Inventory Transfer documents. This feature is restricted to users with the "Brutos Warehouse" role.

 

Improvements

  • Ability to change batch number on receipt from Production: Users can now modify the batch number on the receipt from Production on the Brutos mobile screens.
  • Disable automatic batch number generation: The ability to disable batch number generation when creating a Production Order manually has been added.
  • Add UOM to batch rows on Goods Issue: The UOM has been added to the goods issue screen, specifically against the batch selection rows. It is also shown against the Issued column on the header.
  • Production Receipts allow typing for warehouse selection: Mobile users can now enter text in the warehouse selection text box to quickly find the desired warehouse instead of scrolling through a large drop-down list.
  • Distinct batch numbers for each turn - Production Turn Number Suffix: Each turn in a Production run now has a distinct batch number. This allows for easier identification of turns in Batch reports and traceability.
  • Show From Warehouse on Goods Issue screen: The From Warehouse now displays on the issue screen, helping to reduce mistakes. The warehouse name is shown.
  • Lock column headers on Goods Issue screen: Column headers are now be locked in place on the Goods Issue screen to prevent accidental dragging and potential issues.
  • Allow multiple turns on all processes in Production Master: Users now can have multiple turns on all processes in the Production Master. This allows for more flexibility in production planning.
  • Quick Blending on Packaging Master: Users are able to perform batch blending from the Packaging Master screen in Brutos.
