Configuring UPS Tracking

 

 

Beginning in June of 2024, you will no longer be able to transact with UPS APIs using an access key for authentication and are required to update your security model to OAuth 2.0: Access Key to OAuth 2.0 Migration Guide | UPS

 

In order to use the Address Validation and Shipment Tracking features with UPS the following configurations will be required.

Step by Step configuration 

  1. Log in to UPS (https://developer.ups.com/?loc=en_US)
  2. Click on ‘My Apps’ on the top-right corner.

  1. Click on ‘Add Apps’

  1. Fill the required fields and click on the Next button.

  1. Fill the contact details and click on the Next button.

  1. Enter the app details. Add the product ‘Address Validation’ and ‘Tracking’ by clicking on the plus button.

 

  1. Click on Save button.

  1. You will see your Client ID and Client Secret

  1. Go to b1 client. Go to the menu Administration > Vision33 Addons > Vision33 Addon Configuration.

  1.  Click on ‘Configure Carriers’ button and open UPS carrier configuration.

 

  1.  Enter your Client ID to UserId textbox. Enter your Client Credential to Password textbox. Enter ‘https://wwwcie.ups.com’ to Web Service URL textbox.

  1.  Click on Update button.
